I was initially skeptical about using a
stager, but the results proved themselves.
The changes really helped to open up rooms
and create interesting spaces. They mostly
used existing décor I had and rearranged in
clever ways. Clever use of existing books,
pictures, plants, and trees. Well worth the
price! Really turned the house into a
"Model Home".
The new room arrangements made the entire
interior of the house look much larger and
more spacious. Potential buyers that looked
at the house all commented on the
spaciousness of the house. I would
definitely recommend “Presentation Is
Everything” to every home seller. It
definitely made the Butcher property sell
quickly and sell at full asking price. It is
a wise investment to make when selling your
home!
In southern area of Cumberland County in New
Jersey, staging of a property is a new
concept. “Presentation Is Everything” staged
the Butcher property, and made me a believer
in this concept. I hope this concept catches
on in the Southern New Jersey area so that I
can sell properties quicker and get the
sellers the very best sale price for their
property. Higher sales prices equal more
commission!

and I were selling another home or moving into a new one, we
would hire Lucy in a minute to stage our home. Lucy really
walked us through the
process of preparing our home for sale. First she provided
us Lucy's List -- a
detailed and comprehensive list of to-do items for each room
in the house. Second she was always available for questions
and clarifications. Thirdly she made us feel like her most
important clients by quickly responding to emails and
visiting our home periodically as we prepped it for her

feel we have a beautiful home in Colorado Springs, but
we needed to take the majority of our personal property
with us when we relocated to the East Coast. This left
the home fragmented and unattractive in terms of
presentation. Lucy worked wonders. By cleaning, clearing
and re-arranging existing furnishings and adding
additional pieces, she transformed rooms from a look of
abandonment and disarray to dramatic spaces of beauty,
allowing viewers the ability of imagining the potential
the house for them as buyers.
The presentations highlight
the spaces themselves and also dramatize the settings
(views, etc). The simplicity doesn’t over-burden the
viewer, but the designs display the potentials of each
room.
I am a business Director and former member of
the Diplomatic Corps. My wife is a psychologist. We were
both impressed by Lucy Butcher and her team far beyond
0ur expectations and our imaginations. Not only did Lucy
show her professional capability by staging our home
beautifully (we obtained an offer within three days of
market introduction!), she was also a remarkably
reliable and devoted ally. My wife was diagnosed with a
terminal lung disease in early 2005; as a result, we
made the decision to move to a lower altitude to improve
her quality of life. When I received a job offer, we had
to move quickly, leaving many of our personal belongings
behind until the house sells. This could have been a
prescription for disaster, but Lucy – whom we only met
recently – took care of everything. She made sure the
